The British Columbia Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations
This Ministry awards funding on an annual basis to researchers in the forestry sector. The process of awarding funding was very labour intensive and involved multiple forms being sent back and forth via email between the Ministry and the applicants. Niall was the lead Business Analyst and Agile Project Manager at PwC on the team that built a product iteratively that facilitated online submission of applications for funding. Upon completion of the project, government staff were able to review these applications online and adjudicate which applications merited funding or not. Furthermore, upon receipt of funding, the application tracked how the funding was being spent; contrasting actual spend versus projected spending in the initial application for funding.

Niall was the Senior Business Analyst & Agile Project Manager on the development of a web application to track the global sales performance of IBM Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) which replaced the manual submission and processing of spreadsheets. Change Management and Business Process Improvement were key elements of this project.
